Timeshare Tactics

Victoria, British Columbia is an outdoorsman's dream. You won't find soaring temperatures here.
Every summer day brings a temperate climate that's perfect for a walk along a beach or a vigorous mountain biking adventure. During the colder months, enjoy winter sports like skiing and ice-skating without the arctic temperatures more northern climates are associated with.

Full of Life

This is more than just the city's motto. It's a fact. Traveling with friends? You'll want to try a kayak or canoe tour to witness the grandeur of Canadian nature along the shoreline. Looking for a romantic getaway? Victoria is a great choice with its world-class restaurants. Consider a picnic on a hill overlooking the sea. If you're bringing the kids, there's plenty to keep them busy from horseback riding to zoos and museums.

Come Back and Stay a While

Beware! Once you visit Victoria you're likely to fall in love with the place. Want to return again? Consider Canada timeshare as an alternative to traditional accommodations. Many offer family-friendly amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, and activities. Not familiar with them? Most reputable companies offer timeshare information to you free of charge. If you experience the high-pressure sales tactics associated with some disreputable companies, leave. There are many reputable companies that won't talk you into a timeshare you can't afford.

How Timeshare Works

Owners generally purchase a week or more in a resort during a certain week number every year. After the purchase price, owners generally only have to pay a yearly maintenance fee. Companies will usually let you exchange resort locations with their other locations or you can purchase a membership in an exchange company and vacation anywhere you want. If you find you aren't using your time, consider placing your timeshares for sale or for rent. There are many timeshare resellers that can assist you. Conversely, shopping for a timeshare with a reseller can also save you thousands over purchasing from an initial offering. You should keep in mind that most timeshares depreciate in value over time. The hotter the location and the more desirable time of year you purchase, the more value it will keep.

What to Bring

Most suites come with a full kitchen and service (plates, cutlery, glasses, pans, etc.). Bed linens and bathroom towels are also usually supplied.
You will have to bring your own food items and condiments. Some resorts have on-site convenience stores that stock these items. Others have starter packs you can purchase that contain items like coffee, toothpaste, tea, and other toiletries.

Timeshare can be a great match for vacationers but it is important to become an educated consumer for you to get the most out of your purchase.
